The Hexagon Purus Facility isn’t just a building—it’s a vision brought to life. Spanning 60,000 square feet, this dynamic space is designed to inspire, featuring an 18-foot hexagon skylight, floor-to-ceiling windows, and a rooftop patio perfect for a breath of fresh air. Built with concrete tilt-up and structural steel, it’s a place where innovation meets craftsmanship. Plan B Contractors provided a turn-key solution, ensuring the base building was fully prepared for Hexagon Purus’s operations. We completed key provisionary work to support their specialized needs, and we’re proud to have been part of the journey.
Hexagon Purus is shaping the future of clean energy, and they needed a space that could keep up. When they turned to Plan B Contractors, we knew this industrial construction project would be something special. As their pre-construction consultant and primary contractor, we set out to create a facility that wasn’t just functional but forward-thinking. Our job was to lay the foundation—literally and figuratively—for a workspace that could support their groundbreaking hydrogen and battery cell technology.
Of course, no great build comes without challenges. Global material shortages meant Plan B Contractors had to think ahead, plan smarter, and move fast. We worked closely with the Hexagon Purus team to secure resources, adjust timelines, and make sure everything came together seamlessly. Safety was also a top priority, with our team ensuring strict protocols were followed and collaborating with the client’s safety officers to maintain a secure worksite. The result? A space that’s as cutting-edge as the company it was built for.
Led by Project Manager Brandon Westgate, our internal team and trusted sub-trades worked side by side with Hexagon Purus and their consultants, to bring this bold vision to life. From the early planning stages to the final touches, it was a true team effort—one that made this industrial project as rewarding as it was exciting.
