Bryan Murray

With decades of experience in the construction industry, Bryan is the CEO and founding partner of Plan B Contractors. He has a passion for excellence and proudly inspires his team to provide superior service and quality craftsmanship in a time sensitive and dollar conscious environment. He is an advocate of job safety and makes it his personal responsibility to inspire his team to achieve the highest level of education available. Nothing puts a bigger smile on his face than customers who are more than satisfied with their project completion because his team is performing at their best.

Robyn’s journey in the business world spans over 25+ years, with a background in accounting, sales, operations & HR. For her it is about the relationships and tangible results—to understand clients inside and out and understand their needs. Robyn’s role extends beyond client interactions and excels at managing relationships with partners and affiliates. Her knack for operations management ensures that internal processes run seamlessly, optimizing efficiency and productivity across the board. At the heart of her responsibilities lies project management where she serves as Project Manager for the Maintenance Division; she harnesses organizational expertise and problem-solving to address clients' commercial building needs with precision and effectiveness. As a Partner, Robyn is dedicated to fostering the professional growth of the staff.

With an extensive background spanning over two decades in the construction industry, Rob's professional journey commenced as a labourer on a residential framing site, ultimately culminating in the ownership and operation of his own successful framing company. In 2007, Rob joined Plan B, progressively ascending from a carpenter to a Partner while undertaking multifaceted roles including site supervision, estimating, sales and project management. Rob's instrumental, hands-on involvement in the day-to-day operations of Plan B has been pivotal in driving the company's substantial growth and overall success. This immersive engagement has provided him with a profound understanding of the intricate dynamics and demands inherent in the construction sector.

Since 2019, Rob has had the honour of serving as an esteemed member of the Board of Directors for the Southern Interior Construction Association, actively contributing to the advancement of industry standards and best practices, and reflecting his unwavering commitment to fostering positive developments within the construction community.

Meet Brandon, a Red Seal Carpenter and a Gold Seal Certified Project Manager. With a wealth of experience in successfully delivering commercial projects of all sizes, Brandon's roots in the Okanagan construction industry run deep. He's unwavering in his dedication to safety and quality, values ingrained in him from a young age. Brandon's extensive knowledge of the Okanagan and its diverse communities has enabled him to forge strong partnerships with like-minded, reputable contractors. His relentless commitment to delivering exceptional customer satisfaction fuels his passion for project management, ensuring every project is a resounding success.

As the Chief Financial Officer at Plan B Group Contractors Inc., Mike plays a pivotal role in steering financial strategies and operations to drive sustainable growth and profitability. With a strong foundation in finance and accounting, Mike has a proven track record of optimizing financial performance and enhancing operational efficiency within medium-sized enterprises. Mike possesses a keen understanding of the intricacies of the construction sector, navigating through its unique challenges and opportunities with adept financial management.

Mike is a member of the Chartered Professional Accountants of British Columbia, complemented by his ongoing commitment to professional development and continuous learning in the ever-evolving landscape of finance, accounting, and construction.

As the CFO of Plan B Group Contractors Inc., Mike is dedicated to advancing the company's long-term financial objectives, fortifying its competitive position in the Okanagan, and delivering long-term value to stakeholders amidst the dynamic and evolving construction industry.

Project Manager

Matthew is a construction management professional with experience in residential, commercial, civil and environmental LEED projects. A diploma in Architectural Technology, additional project management university courses, and 25 years of construction experience has created his ability to achieve project objectives, balancing the constraints of time, costs, and scope.

Chris Van Dassen

Chris Van Dassen, GSI

Project Manager

Chris is a Red Seal Carpenter and a Gold Seal Intern working towards becoming a certified Project Manager. Chris also holds a diploma in Mechanical Engineering Design and has worked as a Drafting Technician, previously owning a successful framing and forming company. With his technical expertise, hands-on experience, and strong organizational and interpersonal skills, Chris provides exceptional customer satisfaction throughout the construction management process.

Sandra Lenuik

Sandra Lenuik

Corporate Accountant

Sandra brings over 30 years of bookkeeping and accounting experience; her previous experience with non-profits, retail, manufacturing, service industry and construction relied on her strong attention to detail and good analytical skills. For Plan B, she oversees all billing transactions in our commercial, residential and maintenance divisions.

Kyle Maskell

HS&E Manager / Project Manager

With roots stemming from working with his father, Kyle became a carpenter right after high school. Now with 14 years of professional experience in the residential, commercial, industrial, and oil and gas sectors, Kyle is working his way up from general labour into company management. He holds his Trade Safety Coordinator/Construction Safety Officer certification (2015) and is passionate about leading Plan B’s health and safety program.

Sherri Williams

Senior Estimator

Gary plays a pivotal role in ensuring precise project estimation and cost analysis throughout the pre-construction, tender, and award stages. Gary diligently oversees pre-construction project delivery to ensure thoroughness and effectiveness in subsequent execution. Gary embarked on his professional journey as an Aero Engineer apprentice at Rolls Royce. After relocating to Canada In 2009, Gary redirected his focus toward construction estimating, contributing to diverse projects ranging from healthcare expansions to industrial processing facilities, commercial tenant improvements, and multi-family residential projects.

Sherri Williams

Office Administrator

Sherri has over 30 years of administration experience in the retail building supply industry. She was previously the office manager, controller and co-owner of two family run businesses in the Okanagan and spent three years as Assistant Controller for a group operating two building supply companies in the North Okanagan. Sherri came to Plan B in 2018, adding to a growing administration team and excelling in commercial construction administration.

Teresa Sommerfeld

Project Coordinator

Teresa has excellent interpersonal and organizational skills—a detailed-oriented person with over seven years experience in the construction industry in Customer Service and Maintenance. She supports clients of residential and commercial properties, coordinating all aspects of the project to run smoothly and efficiently, making sure that clients’ needs are met as projects evolve. Teresa manages all appropriate legal paperwork, and terms of agreement from initiating project to closing process.

Over the past decades, we have intentionally built our reputation as the construction company trades want to work with. Why?
