Phoenix Kitchenworks needed a purpose-built space to grow their custom cabinetry business. Plan B Contractors delivered a 12,000 sq ft tilt-up concrete building designed to meet functional and aesthetic needs. Built for the developer and tailored to the tenant, this project included a high-powered dust extraction system, spacious production area, and stylish front-end showroom. The tilt-up panels went up fast, transforming the site into a fully operational facility in just eight months.
Phoenix had outgrown its previous space, which lacked adequate ceiling height, power, and workflow efficiency. The property developer brought in Plan B to construct a new facility from the ground up. The design included clear showroom and production areas zoning, with layout and power requirements tailored to Phoenix’s specialized equipment. Once the base building was complete, the tenant moved their operations to the new location.
Plan B worked closely with both the developer and Phoenix Kitchenworks throughout construction. Coordination with engineers and the tenant was critical to ensure the building supported the dust extraction system, large-scale machinery, and custom layout. Phoenix Kitchenworks completed their own showroom millwork (they are exceptional carpenters, after all), and Plan B handled all base building and service components.
