Interior Dermatology Centre
Interior Dermatology Centre expanded its clinical footprint in two phases over several years—both completed by Plan B Contractors. The first phase in 2021 involved converting half of the available space into a fully functional dermatology clinic. In 2024, Plan B returned for Phase 2 to complete the remaining half. Renovating in a healthcare facility presented unique challenges, and Plan B rose to the occasion.

Why the Project was Needed:
Phase 1, completed in 2021, established the initial dermatology clinic within a shared commercial unit. As demand grew, the clinic was ready to expand. Phase 2 began in 2024, when the owners were ready to take over the rest of the space. The clinic remained open during Phase 2, with a zipper door separating construction from the patient area. Sound attenuation, active cleaning protocols, and off-hours work maintained a safe, quiet, and functional environment for staff and patients of the clinic
The Project Team:
Hatch Interior Design led the design for both phases, ensuring consistent layout and finishes. While some trades changed between phases, Plan B ran the project and maintained both high quality and seamless execution. The demo contractor worked early mornings or late afternoons to avoid disrupting clinic operations. Special attention was paid to matching the flooring, paint, lighting, and fixtures.
