Our local farmers need our support! Over the past few years, they have endured Mother Nature’s relentless onslaught, from atmospheric rivers and heat domes to devastating forest fires and the unprecedented impacts of the pandemic. The recent weather extremes in the Okanagan, such as last winter’s early bud break and late frost, have led to catastrophic losses in our vineyards and orchards that will take years to rebuild.

As a community, we must support these resilient individuals who work tirelessly to provide us with food. By purchasing locally grown products and advocating for agriculture policy changes that benefit our farmers, we can make a difference in their recovery.
Let’s come together to show our appreciation for the hard work and dedication of our local farmers. We need to inspire the next generation to continue bringing fresh food to our tables.
