This project featured a massive 15,000 sf soundproof studio area for the film industry. Due to the proximity to the main highway and the Kelowna International Airport, special acoustic treatments were incorporated including a concrete topping to the roof and continuous spray insulation and foam to the walls and ceilings. This remarkable structure is 50′ high with 100′ clear span which provides a clear working height of 43′ inside the space. On the front of the building, a two story office space complete with a boardroom and a lunchroom was constructed for use by the tenants while using the soundstage.
